Summer Fun!

Our blog is finally here! This has been a long time coming so there are going to be quite a few pictures! I thought I'd let everyone know what we've been doing this summer.

First of all, we had our one year anniversary on June 9th. We stayed at the Little America in Salt Lake in an AWESOME room! They had chocolate-dipped strawberries that looked like little tuxedos! So cute!

Here's us at the top of Ensign Peak. We made it just in time for the sunset.

We went to the 4th of July Parade and had awesome seats...at no small cost. We almost stayed the whole night down there on University Avenue but I think we finally went home at like 1 or 2 a.m. I have to say, I'm quite proud of how patriotically we dressed. :)

For my work summer party we got to go to Harry Potter 5 the night before it came out. Neither of us are huge Harry Potter fans but it was still cool to see it before anyone else got to. And no, those aren't our glasses, they were given to us when we got there.

Here's some pictures from a trip to the cabin. Brandon didn't want his picture taken when he was shooting the bow and arrow. But I kind of got one.

Here's us swimming at the pool in Mesquite. It was a pretty sweet pool. Vacations with the Salmon's are a lot different than with my family. :)

I burned my finger pretty bad pulling cookies out of the oven. Probably not the highlight of my summer, but apparently it was cool enough to take a picture of. Ouch!!!!

We had a big Bishop family reunion down by where our cabin is in Fairview Canyon. Our family was in charge so we were pretty busy the whole time we were there but it was still a lot of fun.

The last cool trip I took was just last week. Kristen and I went to California to visit Ken and Kjersti. It was awesome! Kind of quick, but we had a ton of fun. We went to the aquarium in Long Beach and then we went and swam at the beach by Ken's house. We saw dolphins out in the ocean just beyond where the waves crash. It was so cool!!

If you're reading this, congratulations! You made it to the end of this huge marathon blog. Don't worry, from here on out, each one will probably only have one or two pictures.
