Lost and then Found

So ever since we've been married Brandon has had a habit of taking off his ring and playing with it. And I'm talking like all the time. Even at Church he'll take it off and play games with it, trying to balance it on the hymnbook holder and all sorts of stuff. I always told him he was going to lose it and a week ago on Sunday, he did. Monday after work he realized he wasn't wearing his ring and then he couldn't remember when the last time he had it was. Anyway, we really love his ring so it kind of sucked. We hoped it would either be in our house, the car, his office, or his parents house, instead of out on the road somewhere. We tore our house apart looking for it and finally yesterday we looked at his parents house. Well, Brandon did. He went and checked in the living room couch and put his hands way down in the sides to see if it was there and miraculously, it was! I think he had taken a nap on that couch and must have been playing with it and it fell down the side. Needless to say, we were ecstatic yesterday when we found it!!!

I'm glad you found the ring. Thanks for coming this weekend. We should do it again sometime.

i have totally done this before...corey and i had only been married for a month and i was holding both our rings in my sweatshirt while we worked in our yard...of course they fell out...we finally found them shoved down into some dirt in the yard...it is the worst feeling to lose something that special/important/meaningful/expensive. glad to hear that you found it!!

Oh Steph, just reading your story makes me nervous becaues Gary plays with his ring too ALL THE TIME...I NEVER see it on his finger. Let's hope they never lose them!

Wow! Lucky!

It makes me a little sad I couldn't do the whole Philippine thing, but I just have to remember I was in no state or heart to go at the time. Right now, yeah, I think I could do it. Wrong timing, like so many things in life. But I still keep in contact with you and Beau and that makes it all worth it. :-) I kind of like to think I'm making a little difference here in Denver or at least being an example since I'll be here for exactly 18 months. Hmmm. Coincidence?

Steph...I had a dream about you last night. I hope it doesn't make you sad, but you were pregnant! And I didn't even know and we were hanging out and someone made a comment about how you are feeling and you said, "a lot better now that this baby isn't making me throw up all the time". I thought it was real when I woke up...maybe it is????

You should tie a little string around his ring and tie the other end his finger so that the ring can never be too far away, well depending on the length of string you use . . .

Excuse me!!!! What does until further notice mean? Steph, are you not telling us something? Are you expanding your family?

OH, I am glad he found it! Though it would be worse if you lost yours. Grant left his next a bathroom sink at a church he didn't usually attend. Luckily it was turned into the Bishop. And my dad's was stolen by construction workers. And Tyler always dropped his on the metro. What is w/guys and playing w/their rings? And that is funny that erin made a comment above and she is married to a corey bcse Tyler has a cousin named erin married to a corey in Logan. I thought they were the same at first. lol. Good luck w/getting pregnant! Hope that dream mentioned earlier comes true soon!
