Bitter Sweet

After I got home from Girl's Camp, we moved straight along to the next thing: getting in as much time as possible with my parents before they leave for their mission in the Hong Kong Temple.

We went swimming at the Lindon pool and then had a picnic in a park that's right by Heidi's group home. We had a lot of fun spending time with family.

Saturday was my baby sister Amy's birthday. She turned 20 and I seriously can't believe it. I felt so bad but with being at Girl's Camp all week I totally spaced that it was her birthday! I'm such a bad sister...

Poor Ammon broke his collar bone at the pool... He looks so cute though with his arm all wrapped up.

On Sunday we got up early to listen to my parents speak in Church and then spent all day hanging out at their house. They got set apart at 7:00 last night. Apparently Bryant couldn't hack all the fun. Ha ha ha.

One of our hundreds of self portraits.

We said goodbye to my parents last night instead of doing the new curbside drop off at the MTC today. They entered the MTC at 10:00 this morning. I can't wait to hear how they like it. I'm hoping I can go in there and have lunch with them sometime. Anyone know if they let you do that with senior couples? The MTC food is so good!

The last picture for a year and a half. Unless we go visit them over there! I need to look into that....
They will be great missionaries. I'm going to miss them so much but I know it will be worth it for all of us in the end.

Looks like you were in a BEAUTIFUL place for girls camp. I love that hat....did you make it? Well, I totally think you should go visit your parents in HK. I went there with my parents on our way home from the Phils. and it was awesome. Plus, your parents are there so it would be even better. They will love it. There are A TON of filipina workers there too :)

You must go and visit them. You must! Hong Kong is amazing, and while you are there, go to Mainland China too.

It was a wyndam resort, but I forgot exactly what it was called. But we had sooo much fun. I'm sure both resorts are similar. How did you get a good deal? Was it from a website? Let me know, cause we really want to go back with some friends. My dad planned all that trip so i want to know where to find good deals!!

Thats funny, cause thats the same type of thing that my dad did. It was the same type of suite and everything. You guys will have a blast. You will want to stay the whole week, I promise. We were sad to only be able to stay 3 days!!!

They are going to make the BEST missionaries. Are they keeping a blog of their experiences? If not, you'll have to send along some stories every once in a while.
