Sin City

Warning: Picture Overload. Seriously.

.
Brandon and I spent most of last week at this awesome resort in Las Vegas. Tahiti Village. Our friends Michael and Ashli invited us to go with them and we had an absolute blast!!!
.
Here are some pictures of the resort and pools which we of course visited every day.
.

.
The lazy river. We went around this thing hundreds of times. It was so much fun.

.
Michael and Ashli.

.

.

.
The sand beach at one of the pools.

.
We bbq'd hamburgers one day and they were so good but it waaay to hot outside!

.
We went and walked around down the strip a few times while we were there. My very favorite thing about the strip is the Bellagio. I love the water show and I love the displays inside. I could sit out there for hours and just watch all the different water shows.
.
And just for kicks, I included some pictures of the last time Brandon and I were in Vegas. Right after we got married 3 years ago.
.
Now.
.
Then.

.
We love the little water fountains inside the Bellagio. The displays are always so amazing.

Now.

.
Then.

.
This snail's shell was made out of flowers. I thought it was cool.

.
Inside the Coke factory we tried coke products from 16 different countries. Some of them were pretty good and others tasted like medicine and mouthwash. It was a fun experience though.

.
This is us inside the New York New York. I bought a New York pretzel there and it might have been the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Seriously.

.

.
Inside the M&M Factory.

.

.
Can you find me in this picture? These colored M&M's were on sale for the bargain price of $13 a pound. Ridiculous!!!

.
The strip.

.
My friend Jessica told me we HAD to go walk down Freemont Street. So we did. And it was pretty darn cool with this roof covering the street that was a movie screen. It was really fun.

.
More Freemont Street.

.
The typical Las Vegas cowboy. Love it.

.
One night we went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. I absolutely love aquariums and ocean life so I had a blast.
.
Sharks. Yay!
.
In the tube with sharks swimming around us.

.
The touch pool.

.

.
These were seriously the biggest jellyfish I have ever seen. The big one was about the size of a basketball. Crazy!

.
I LOVE watching sea turtles swim.

.
At first I was nervous that all we were going to get to see was these small wimpy sharks but we finally got to another tank with lots of big ones. It was really cool!
.
Ha ha. Love this. A picture by the picture of the famous Welcome to Las Vegas sign.
.
The real thing. Had the camera on the wrong setting dang it, so it's not clear. Oh well.

.
Thanks so much Michael and Ashli for inviting us to come. It was an awesome vacation!!!

Bishop Family Reunion

Last weekend all the Bishop cousins got together for a reunion. (Minus Dennis and Polly's family, we missed you!) We just went camping up Hobblecreek Canyon and it was so perfect. Nice and close. We only have these reunions every two years so it is always really nice to catch up with everyone. Yeah, Nate, do you agree? :)

Our family didn't have the best representation at the reunion. We kind of felt like orphans without our parents there. But they are having a blast in the MTC.

We played kickball, volleyball, and frisbee football. Here are some pics from those games.

We also played a lot of board games. And that was about it. We ate good food and just hung out with each other but I had such a good time.

On Saturday when we got home Brandon and I made a few trips to Lowes and BJ Plumbing and then Brandon put our shower together and we were finally able to shower at home! It was awesome. The shower looks so good, I really want to post about it but it isn't quite complete yet so I'm waiting for that...
