Mckinley's First Halloween

Before we get to Halloween, let's talk about the awesome BYU basketball game we went to on Wednesday night. We had front row tickets with dinner before and snacks at half time. There is no better way to go.

.
The view from my seat. The best seat in the house is front row, center court. And that's where I sat. We had a blast. I love all the sweet things like this that Brandon's dad hooks us up with.

.
I had a work Halloween party on Thursday and a family one on Friday night. I made these spider cookies for both parties. They were so yummy!!

.
I wore my mom's Cruella Deville costume and dressed up Mckinley as a little dalmatian. I thought it was pretty cute. :)

.
Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks!!

.
Thursday night our friends Michael and Ashli came over and carved pumpkins with us. This is one of my favorite traditions!

.
The finished products. Mine is on the left, Brandon's on the right. Too bad we didn't have anything cool to announce like last year.

.
Saturday night we hung out at Brandon's parents' house. Here is a pictures of all of the grandkids (minus Sam) with Chan and Linc.

.
Sunday we had a family dinner with my side of the family. My brother Ken and his wife in California sent the cutest package with a bunch of little Halloween toys for the grandkids. They loved them!! Mckinley loved popping the bubbles. I wasn't sure if she'd even be able to see them, but she surprises me all the time.

.
I can't believe this girl is almost 6 months! Her dr appointment is in a week and I'm excited to see what her stats are!

Love the costumes! We aren't too creative over here... maybe next year.

And those cheeks most definitely NEED a good squeeze and smooch!

The costume turned out sooo cute! What a fun idea! I can't believe our babes are 6 months. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago when we were talking about how sick we both were. Well I just edited the original post but here are Averie's stats:
Weight: 15.54 pounds 37 percentile
Height: 27 inches 86th percentile
Head Circumference: 17.1 inches 77th percentile
I can't wait to see where McKinley is. Seems like they are always really close in size! Oh Where did you get those cute pink boots for McKinley? I just love them!
