6 Months

These little cuties are 6 months old! They are both starting to move around a little by rolling and scooting. They both sit fairly well on their own but still need a little practice. They are excellent sleepers and happy babies in general. We can't get enough of them!

Love their cute owl hooded towels!

Tyler is so happy. All. The. Time. Love him.

They looked so cute chillin on my pillow in bed this morning. And so big!

Look at them sitting!

Tyler fell asleep on the floor after he fed himself his own bottle. Only time it's ever happened. It was so cute.

He LOVES this green thing on his exersaucer.

So cute. Sitting on the rocking chair.

We have been loving this warm weather and going to the park!

Tyler goes wherever he needs to to find toys.

Look at this guy moving all over the floor!

First time in the regular stroller. How fun is it having two babies!! I just love it.

This is where they hang out a lot of the time. They always end up turning and facing each other. It's so cute. It's so fun to watch them play together.

Stats at 6 months:

Tyler:
Weight: 17 lbs 6 oz (50%)
Length: 25.5 inches (10%)
Head: 17.25 inches (67%)

Kallie:

Easter 2013

Mckinley makes every holiday the "best one yet." She is getting so much more fun as she gets older and understands more what is going on.

A week before Easter we went to Brandon's parents' ward Easter egg hunt. We have gone every year and always love it.

McKinley waiting for it to start.

Finding eggs inside the nursery since there was snow on the ground outside.

She had a blast and decided that certain colors of eggs were for certain people. Pink for her, blue for dad, purple for Mom, etc. She was quite obsessed with that this year.

We had a little mini egg hunt for play group at my mom's house and colored some Easter eggs.

Then Saturday, the day before Easter was the big Easter egg hunt that Brandon's dad does every year. Poor Mckinley was so anxious for it to start ever since she woke up at 7 a.m. that morning until it finally started at like 10:30.

She definitely knew what to do by now and got busy putting as many eggs as she could in her basket.

This was the first year the adults didn't find eggs. It was all for the kids and it was so fun to follow McKinley around and help her.

Brandon ended up taking eggs back out of her basket and hiding them again for her a bunch of times because she had so much fun finding them.

Ah! Favorite picture.

Tyler and Kallie slept through the whole thing. Can't believe they'll be out there running around with Mckinley next year.

We did our own Easter egg hunt for her at home on Easter morning, with the same candy she found the day before. So easy to please at this age. Here she is holding up both of her Easter dresses, but she is looking at the front of them. Ha ha. Love it.

Oh, she looked so cute at Church today. Minus her shoes that were too big and she couldn't even walk in them. Oops...

Sisters!

Family shot. First one in a long time. We need to get some real ones taken.

We had a wonderful Easter and are so grateful for our little family and the love that we share.

Baby Food

Since Tyler and Kallie are almost 6 months old, we decided we would feed them some baby food. I blended some steamed carrots in the Blendtec and it seriously looked better than the stuff you buy in the store. I froze a bunch of it in ice cube trays. I am so pumped about this! I don't want to buy any baby food. Who knows if I'll really stick to that, but I hope so.

These guys aren't sitting on their own quite yet so I was worried about how the high chair thing would work out but they both fit in there just perfectly and looked so big!

I can't believe Mckinley was sitting in this very chair like 7 months ago. Kallie looks so big!

Tyler thought eating food was the funnest thing he'd ever done. He would laugh so hard when I would give him a bite.

It got pretty messy after a while but was fun.

Kallie didn't like it much. She gagged and spit most of it back out but this morning she did much better.

Ah! Love this pic.

My Sleeping Beauties

I absolutely love pictures of babies sleeping.

Tyler

Mckinley. She always has her blanket up around her neck and nothing on the bottom half of her. Always.

Kallie

Okay, this may not look like Tyler's asleep but he really was. Totally propped up on his crib bumper. I took a picture and then made him more comfortable.

See?

The babies used to be so cuddly and would always fall asleep on our chests or in bed with us but we can't get them to sleep on us for anything now. Except yesterday. Tyler fell asleep in the rocking chair with me for his first nap. I was in heaven.

Mckinley when she crashed yesterday at 4:30 p.m. Longest night of sleep ever!

St. Patrick's Day

Having kids definitely helps us to be a little more festive and celebrate holidays. On St. Patrick's Day we made a green breakfast for dinner.

French Toast.

Green milk. Mckinley's thoughts on the green milk: "It's sooo beautiful Mom."

Green eggs.

Kristen let us borrow Maverik's bib for some pictures.

And I thought it would be fun to make green formula for the babies.

Tyler's green barf after looked disgusting. ;)
