8 Months Old

These babies are 8 months old in a few days. I won't be able to take a picture like this on the actual day so I did it a few days early.

They each have two teeth, that you can see pretty well in these pictures.

Kallie's smile cracks me up. I can't get enough of it.

Adorable picture of Mckinley. She is the best ever! She is having more of the terrible 3's than the terrible 2's, but she is still an angel 99% of the time.

She found my box of ribbons and headbands the other day and was obsessed with it for a few days. So easy to please. :) Lately she's been into my fingernail polish and plays with it for hours at a time.

This is how you can find Kallie a lot of the time. On her hands and feet. She is a pro at going from crawling to sitting and half the time it looks like she is trying to stand up all the way.

I have been bathing these two together in the big tub and even though it gets a little crazy sometimes, it's super fun. Mckinley likes to "help" me bathe them and pours cups of water right on top of their heads to get their hair wet and they don't seem to mind at all.

Today Kallie pulled herself up to standing at her music table. I turned around and was very surprised to see her standing. She loves standing up to it but I usually help her get there. Guess she figured it out on her own.

We never knew life with twins could be this fun and we are dying to have another set of twins the next time around too!

A little comparison shot to end off with because I think they're so fun. I need to do some with Tyler and Mckinley. Just because he's a boy, doesn't mean I can't find a picture of them doing the same thing. This is Mckinley first, then Kallie, on the Dora chair at my mom's house.

Brandon's Phone

Some gems from Brandon's camera that need to be posted on here.

Mckinley riding her bike at the park (with us waaaay in the background).

She looks so grown up to me in this picture!!!

Playing with the cup cake liners.

She matched those letters with her bath letters all on her own. Smarty pants.

Swimming at the new Provo Rec Center. Such an amazing building!

All three kids loved being in the pool. Made me so excited for a vacation to Phoenix!

Precious Kallie sleeping. She moves all around her crib now like Tyler and pulls down on the bumper to see out.

Love this. Even though it's blurry. So cute of Tyler, and Kallie standing on her head in the background. Ha ha.

Mckinley is 3!!

Mckinley's turned 3 on Tuesday. She had been looking forward to her birthday for WEEKS and would often ask us when she woke up, "Can it just BE my birthday today?" Or she would look at the clock and say, "When it gets to the 3, then we're gonna have my birthday."

We let her sleep in our bed with us the night before her birthday. Not sure if this is more of a privilege for her or for Brandon. We watched How to Train Your Dragon and had popcorn.

Kallie and Tyler decided to start Mckinley's birthday off bright and early, a few minutes after 6 a.m. Oh well, it just gave us more time to celebrate. They came and joined us in bed and were sooo happy.

Brandon made Mckinley mickey mouse pancakes and brought her breakfast in bed.

It's a tradition. First Birthday. Second Birthday.

She got princess dress up shoes and crowns and a tea set. She couldn't be happier.

We went to the park in the morning and played with some of her cousins. She kept yelling to me, "Mom! Look! I'm in the castle!!!!"

We met up with Brandon for lunch.

She wouldn't wear anything except the dress my mom got her. She wore it again he next day too.

She hasn't stopped playing with her tea set and Brandon caught her setting it up exactly like it shows on the box.

And when I say exactly, I mean EXACTLY.

This girl has brought so much joy into our lives and she gets more and more fun every day. We are so lucky to have her!! She is a modern day miracle and we are so grateful she's ours.

Blowing bubbles outside today.

And because no post would be complete without a picture of Kallie and Tyler, here they are sitting out on the grass the other dy. Mckinley was terrified of the grass for the first two summers of her life! These guys don't seem to mind at all.

I am still in awe that I have three kids. I love all of them so much. Watching Kallie and Tyler lately has made me sad for the twin sibling Mckinley could have had.

Kallie and Kinley

They were not the same age in these pictures, but they're in the same cute bunny towel.

Pictures

I am in love with my kids. Here are some pictures I couldn't resist posting.

Tyler usually makes it to a corner of his bed before he falls asleep.

Kallie is always getting up on her hands and knees. Poor thing still can't figure out how to move though.

Such an angel when she's sleeping. Well, she's an angel even when she's awake, but I mean she just looks so peaceful when she's asleep.

This kid is all over his crib, all the time!

Getting creative with the pantry. There is another awesome picture to go with this one but it's on Brandon's phone.

DYING over her freckles!!!I love them. I didn't like my freckles growing up but I love them now. I hope she loves hers right from the get go.
