Disneyland - Day 5

The last time we went to Disneyland we ended up doing 2 days at California Adventure. Brandon and I were both torn about where to go the 3rd day and honestly we were wishing we just bought a 2 day pass. We were kind of just done. There were a few things I still wanted to do in both parks but we could only choose one and we knew we would go where the whole group went.

Disneyland it was.

Thursday was our worst day ever, even with the magic morning pass, it was so crowded and every single ride had insanely long rides.

I got to ride Autopia for the first time in my life.

Then we hit up Toon Town which the kids had never seen. We did so much sitting around, it felt like kind of a wasted day.

We walked inside Mickey's House for two seconds. We would have had to wait 45 minutes to go to Minnie's house. So lame.

Brandon got to take Mckinley and Tyler on Splash Mountain and they closed down the ride right after they got on because of a medical emergency so those of us waiting with babies couldn't go.

I wanted to go on Indiana Jones really bad. It's one of my favorite rides and I haven't been on it for years. But the wait was way too long. Brandon took the kids up to Tarzan's Treehouse, then we waited in line for Nemo, rode the monorail for the first time, and headed home. The worst of our 3 days in the parks but we still made some good memories.

We went home and got in the hot tub for our last night there. Friday we drove the whole way home and our kids were amazing. Ava seriously slept almost the whole way home. It was incredible! We went from warm weather back to freezing again. We got out in Nephi at the gas station to go to the bathroom and the kids and I had to run out across the back parking lot to the bathrooms. It was 5 degrees outside and the kids were in shorts and short sleeve shirts. Brr!!! We were choking on the cold air. Anyway, it was a fabulous trip to Disneyland, it went so much better than I could have expected. And now I think we're good for another year or two!
