Last Day of 2nd Grade

We got home from Las Vegas in time for Mckinley to enjoy the last few fun days of school. Her teacher Ms. Davis was so amazing and did so much fun stuff for the kids! She made them a red carpet for an award ceremony so then Mckinley decided to make her own red carpet at home for when she finished the last day of school. So creative!

I helped Ms. Davis with hours and hours of cutting at home. I loved helping her and I know she really appreciated it.

I'm pretty sure Mckinley has won an award for being an amazing artist every year.

I realized I don't think we ever took a picture of Mckinley with her first grade or Kindergarten teachers so we went and found them on the last day of school.

This is Mrs. Heaps, Mckinley's first grade teacher who had a song for everything and was so great!

And her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Brown, who will hopefully be Tyler and Kallie's teacher next year.

Mckinley absolutely excels in school. She is way above her grade level for reading and does well in Math and writing and all the other subjects. She is still an amazing artist and just such a great kid. We are so lucky to have her in our family! She is so easy.

Viva Las Vegas

We were lucky enough to be able to go down to Las Vegas again for a family vacation with all of Brandon's family. Well, most of them. We stayed at Tahiti Village and had an absolute blast.

Ava trying to "talk" on a tablet on the drive down. Ha ha ha. We had a little drama on the way there because Mckinley's stomach wasn't feeling good but the kids for the most part were amazing.

We got to the pool right at 8 a.m. when it opened. Pretty easy to do when your kids wake up at 6:30. Ugh.

Ava will not wear any type of flotation device but at least they had a big shallow part and then the whole sand beach which is just so fun and perfect for little ones.

We went to the Bellagio the first night we were there to see the gardens and the fountains. So much fun!

Four times throughout the week the pool was shut down from someone pooping in it. And it would be shut down for HOURS every time. The only downside to the trip.

Enjoying food out on our deck.

Man I love these cute kids so much!

Hot tub time!

Jason with about a million kids hanging off of him in the pool.

The kids loved all the little crafts they had to do at the resort.

Cousin time!

We visited a little park that was nearby.

For the most part it was just swimming, swimming, and more swimming. We had incredible weather, but still got mild sunburns here and there. It was quite the task keeping these guys sunscreened up and moisturized afterwards. Phew!

A game of water volleyball. Wish I could have played! One day when I don't have any more babies...

Jive Concert

We were lucky enough to get invited to the aquarium for a work thing. The kids loved it.

So fun to go with cousins.

Took the kids to Springwater Park. They always love feeding the goats.

Mckinley has been a corn on the cob lover since she was tiny. Still loves it.

May 18th and 19th Mckinley had her dance concert weekend where they perform 5 times in 2 days. She did so well and it is always so fun to watch. I love that we get to watch her cousins dance too. the theme this year was states. Mckinley's was Florida and they danced to "You are my Sunshine."

Kallie wanted a photo shoot after Mckinley got her baptism one, ha ha, so I walked with her out to the golf course and we snapped a few pictures. We are so lucky to have this beautiful golf course in our backyard.
