4th of July

The 4th of July is such a great holiday, one of my favorites.

We had a great time at the balloons, as always. I love that we have done this every single year since our kids were born.

Last year we forgot Kallie's shoes and Shannon came to the rescue, this time we forgot Mckinley's shoes. I let her borrow mine until Shellee could come rescue her. Next year I'm putting all three kids' shoes in the car the night before!

We love that Ross always gets tickets for the breakfast after the balloons. Such a great tradition.

The parade this year was better than ever. Ross saved us an amazing parking spot with the scooter, our seats were excellent, the kids had a blast! Couldn't have asked for anything more.

We had a BBQ for lunch and had so much fun spending lots of time with family!

Zoo

I always love our big family trips to the zoo. It happened to be Canada Day when we went so Ross had flags for everyone for the picture.

Ava sure loves her Grandpa.

Ava was so good, despite only getting about a 20 minute nap.

Our very favorite animal, the polar bear, died about 3 months before we were there. Bummer. But they are getting two polar bear cubs in September so hopefully next time we go we can see those.

The bird show was fabulous as always.

And Grandpa is always so nice to get tickets for all the kids to ride the carousel. Probably their favorite part. We should just take them to Provo Beach Resort ha ha.

Cute Baby

Summer can be exhausting! We've had lots of naps from the twins this summer.

Everyone is still obsessed with Ava.

She pulled the blanket over her face while she was drinking her bottle.

Cousins at the bell concert.

Picnic at Springwater park. We've spent a lot of time there this summer. Best kept secret around! I love that park.

Ava is still our little thumb sucker. All the other kids loved their binkis but she doesn't want anything to do with one. The great part is she only sucks her thumb in bed. I'm sure it won't always stay that way, but for now we have the best of both worlds and are totally enjoying it.

Man, she is cute!

I love how she always puts her foot up on the cart.

The University Mall playground has become a favorite place to visit. Especially since it's so close to Brandon's work so we usually get to go see him after we play.

Brandon and I got to take Mckinley to the Freedom Festival Gala dinner again, after going 5 years ago with her. The food honestly wasn't that great but the experience was awesome.

Too cute!!!
