Track Season

Track season has begun! So fun watching our kids run!

I found the stone to my ring!!! It was in the hallway bathroom and I noticed it when I was vacuuming. Now I need to decide if I want to get it fixed or buy a new ring. Maybe both!

Camile came in to town for a visit with her baby. So fun to catch up with her!

Amy came into town for her spring break. We went swimming at an indoor pool of my mom's neighbor.

St. Patrick's Day!

More sugar cookies of course.

Brandon and I made a last minute decision to go down to St. George to watch Mckinley run in the Pine View track meet. It was insane! There were so many schools there and they had the most random weekend of crazy heat. It was like 95 degrees!

We went and hiked the slot canyon at Dixie Rock.

Explored the Red Hills Desert Garden for the first time.

Went to the visitors center and took a picture by the temple.

Mckinley didn't PR on her mile the first day and was a little disappointed but she did PR in the 800 on day two so then she was all smiles! We randomly ended up booking the same hotel as her and that was fun.

Ava was going to have to miss the lip sync because of our Cancun trip but it ended up getting moved so she was able to be there. Always so fun watching this performance!

We are so lucky to be starting Mountain View the year they got a new track. It's super nice!

Tyler and Kallie have started track at Lakeridge as well. So fun!

CANCUN!!!!

Ross and Karen took the entire family (52 of us) to Cancun and we had the best time of our lives! We stayed at the Moon Palace the Grand and it was so wonderful!

Flying there was easy. We had a direct flight and were on the same flight as Ryan and Jess.

There were so many fun restaurants. We had a blast at Circus our first night!

The beach had so much seaweed but the resort was so full of fun stuff that we didn't even have time to worry about swimming in the ocean.

There were so many pools at the resort we didn't even swim at all of them.

All the little girl cousins in matching swimsuits.

We had a photographer take pictures on the beach. It was super windy but they turned out great!

Brandon and Tyler and Kallie all had a good time on the flow rider.

The Mexican restaurant we ate at the second night was so fun with lots of entertainment while we ate.

Girls all got sweat sets for the trip.

Not sure why this picture is sideways... The rooms were incredible with a huge tub and tons of space and balconies. This whole trip was a dream.

We ate at a steakhouse that was pretty yummy! They had rose petals all over our table to celebrate Karen's birthday.

There was a massive bounce house that the kids had a blast on.

Karen wanted matching t shirts and we had a special catered lunch all together outside under a huge canopy. Karen gave a speech and cried. It was a great lunch.

Fun to get drinks in coconuts!

We were able to gather so much more than I thought! It was seriously such a great trip.

The pina coladas were kind of meh so we got lots of mango smoothies and strawberry daiquiris and other drinks.

Mckinley was so diligent running in the gym every day. She is so dedicated to running.

We ate pizza and pasta at a yummy Italian restaurant.

We took a shuttle to the sister resort for dinner at a hibachi grill and it was super yummy! Especially the sushi they served us to start out.

We discovered a restaurant where you could order a mango on a stick and they were pure heaven!

The kids had so much fun always having lots of cousins to play with!

Room service!

Maisie and Ava in a hammock on the beach. We did get in the water one day but wow, the seaweed was insane.

Our flight home got cancelled so we rebooked some different flights home with a layover. It gave us a few extra hours at the resort which of course we spent swimming and getting more mangos!

Travel home was less than ideal and we didn't get home till 4:45 a.m. but the trip was so fun we didn't care too much!! Thanks Ross and Karen for the trip of a lifetime.
