Man, we had a fun summer. This was the first time I wasn't as excited to send the kids back to school.

Tyler and Kallie weren't all that excited to go back. First time for that. Ava was pretty excited but then ended up having a really rough first month of school.
Ava got some of the cutest back to school clothes! She looks like she's ready to go in for a job interview.
First weekend of school we headed to the cabin and got Brandon to come with us for the first time since Jackson was born.
It was a quick weekend trip. We were so lucky to be able to go out on the lake. Usually it's dried up by now but with all the moisture over the winter, it was still super full.

Had a fun day with Jackson and Gracie while the kids were at school.

Don't know when the sleeping pictures of Jackson will ever end. It will be weird one day when he doesn't fall asleep half way through the day anymore.
Jackson got to go to the discovery park for his cousin's birthday party. We barely escaped melting. It was so hot!
Tyler got a concussion during his first soccer game with Patrick's team. It was pretty scary! He thought he was still in 4th grade and told us his teacher was Mrs. Marker, who was his teacher last year. He got tripped and hit his head on the ground and seriously couldn't remember much for about a half an hour! His memory all came back within an hour but we made him take it really easy for a few days.
Ava's flower kept getting bigger and bigger!
We decided to organize all of Tyler's Legos and over weeks and weeks we slowly built out all his sets. Since the Legos were out, he and Alex and Hudson were building creatively with them again which was so fun for me to see!
