Hurricane

We got home from our family reunion and turned around a few days later and went back to St. George to stay at our place in Hurricane while Mckinley was also in Hurricane for cross camp with her team.

Always a great trip every time we go to St. George. We never get sick of it. Tried watching the sunset from Dixie Rock but the storm clouds got in the way. Still so fun to explore Dixie Rock and climb through the narrows in the evening though when it wasn't so hot.

Lots of fun pool time as always.

Tried the sunset again and had cloud cover again. Guess we're meant to see a gorgeous sunset from there when Mckinley is with us.

While we were in St. George Chandra called and invited us to Lake Powell for the next week because some of her friends had dropped out. Kallie did the cutest nails in preparation for Powell.

Desert Color

Fun swim day at the Pratt's.

Mckinley and I went and saw Young Washington. Didn't love it.

Tyler went on a young men's campout with Brandon. They went to Marysvale and had some fun but probably want a different location next time.

Fun night with cousins up in the canyon when Chandra's family was in town.

Ross rented a waterslide for the grandkids again.

We had a Bishop family reunion in St. George and got to stay at the Desert Color resort. I was so excited to check this place out and it was pretty much amazing! The lagoon did get shut down quite a bit from lightning but that meant the weather wasn't too hot and we still had our private pool to swim in. It was such a great trip!!!

Really hoping we repeat this one!

4th of July 2026

This summer really has been so great. We are living it up every day, getting lots of jobs done at home and lots of playing in. 

We went swimming at Scera with George and Millie.

Took Tyler and Kallie and some friends to Top Golf.

Went to Classic Skating with Parks and Millie.

We have had a blast watching Jackson play baseball.

Ava supporting her friends who play softball.

Jackson loves his sunset bike rides. So do I!

Enjoyed a Manila Pond day with my mom and Kristen.

Kallie painted the most incredible 4th of July nails on herself!

While the girls were at Girl's Camp we got to enjoy lots of time playing with Luke since his mom went to camp.

Ava got spoiled with a zoo day with her friends!

We spent the day at Classic Skating with friends while their moms were at camp.

Made lots of shrinky dinks with Luke.

Kallie and Mckinley had a great year at camp. They floated the Provo River, hiked to Timp Cave, and played at Tibble Fork.

We enjoyed a Highland Glend pond day with my friends.

Made a festive jello for the 4th of July.

We cheered Mckinley on as she ran the 10k freedom run.

I couldn't convince the family to go watch the balloons blow up but we did see a bunch of them in the sky and even watched this one land.

Ava got to go boating with Grandpa and Marmee and Lincoln's family.

Family bike ride on the afternoon of the 4th. Minus Tyler and Kallie which is par for the course these days.

We watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks with Lincoln's family and Ross and Karen from the field by their church. Next year I'm hoping to convince someone to come to the balloons with me and maybe even the parade!
