CANCUN!!!!

Ross and Karen took the entire family (52 of us) to Cancun and we had the best time of our lives! We stayed at the Moon Palace the Grand and it was so wonderful!

Flying there was easy. We had a direct flight and were on the same flight as Ryan and Jess.

There were so many fun restaurants. We had a blast at Circus our first night!

The beach had so much seaweed but the resort was so full of fun stuff that we didn't even have time to worry about swimming in the ocean.

There were so many pools at the resort we didn't even swim at all of them.

All the little girl cousins in matching swimsuits.

We had a photographer take pictures on the beach. It was super windy but they turned out great!

Brandon and Tyler and Kallie all had a good time on the flow rider.

The Mexican restaurant we ate at the second night was so fun with lots of entertainment while we ate.

Girls all got sweat sets for the trip.

Not sure why this picture is sideways... The rooms were incredible with a huge tub and tons of space and balconies. This whole trip was a dream.

We ate at a steakhouse that was pretty yummy! They had rose petals all over our table to celebrate Karen's birthday.

There was a massive bounce house that the kids had a blast on.

Karen wanted matching t shirts and we had a special catered lunch all together outside under a huge canopy. Karen gave a speech and cried. It was a great lunch.

Fun to get drinks in coconuts!

We were able to gather so much more than I thought! It was seriously such a great trip.

The pina coladas were kind of meh so we got lots of mango smoothies and strawberry daiquiris and other drinks.

Mckinley was so diligent running in the gym every day. She is so dedicated to running.

We ate pizza and pasta at a yummy Italian restaurant.

We took a shuttle to the sister resort for dinner at a hibachi grill and it was super yummy! Especially the sushi they served us to start out.

We discovered a restaurant where you could order a mango on a stick and they were pure heaven!

The kids had so much fun always having lots of cousins to play with!

Room service!

Maisie and Ava in a hammock on the beach. We did get in the water one day but wow, the seaweed was insane.

Our flight home got cancelled so we rebooked some different flights home with a layover. It gave us a few extra hours at the resort which of course we spent swimming and getting more mangos!

Travel home was less than ideal and we didn't get home till 4:45 a.m. but the trip was so fun we didn't care too much!! Thanks Ross and Karen for the trip of a lifetime.

February

Jackson was sad he didn't get to bring a valentine box this year because a grandma of someone in his class was making bags for all the kids. He ended up liking his bag though.

Ava used Kallie's old Minnie Mouse box so I didn't get to make any valentine boxes this year.

We are having so much fun learning how to decorate sugar cookies!

Chinese New Year dinner at my parents' house is always a favorite.

Hangtime for the win!

The one and only snow day we had. I'm so glad the kids ran outside and took advantage playing on the golf course all afternoon!

I got to go with Ava to her field trip at the aquarium. I had the best group and we had such a fun time!

We had so many incredible sunsets this winter!

Ava had a good time playing basketball this winter.

I lost the stone out of my ring the day before we went to Cancun. I had gone to Costco, Walmart, and Brandon's parents house that day. As well as church. It could have been anywhere! I noticed a few weeks prior that it seemed loose and I should have stopped wearing it but I didn't and I lost the stone.

January/February

Trying to teach Tyler how to do a few more things in the kitchen.

Another dance for Mckinley.

Her posters are always a work of art.

She went to sweethearts with David Ashton. Super hero theme. So random to me that they do costumes for dances.

Ava and Jackson dressing up for the 100th day of school.

Ava had another fun itty bitty cheer performance with her friends.

Tyler and Brandon went to the YM winter campout. Only problem, we had hardly any snow this winter. Like seriously there was one day where the kids got to play in the snow and that was it. It was the strangest winter I can remember. So their camp wasn't as fun as it could have been but they still did a little bit of sledding on the road.

While they were gone Cammie and I had the funnest adventure day hiking up to Battle Creek Falls to see it partially frozen. It was so cool!

Then we went to see our neighbors the Robins in Mary Poppins at UVU and it was the most incredible play ever!!! I don't like plays usually, but I loved this!

Chandra came in to town for her annual ski trip but since there was no snow, they just hung out with cousins for a week.

Christina rang the bell after finishing her chemo treatments.

The youth had an ice skating activity.
