Tyler got invited to join Steve's team in a soccer tournament in Mesquite. We decided to stay in Hurricane and just drive down for the tournament on Friday and on Saturday. It actually wasn't bad at all doing that and we had an absolute blast!
This was the coldest weather we've ever experienced in St. George. But we still had so much fun and just swam in the rain anyway. The pool actually felt pretty warm since it was so cold outside!
They did such a good job in their tournament. They kicked 5 PK's at the end of every game, just for practice, but it also gave them a point if they won their shoot out. Tyler got picked to kick the last kick of their first round, and he nailed it! It was so exciting!
Friday night's game was freezing and Saturday ended up a little better. It was still definitely chilly, but man, we had a lot of fun being there.
Night swimming is always a favorite! Even though we didn't need to wear sunscreen during the day either. :)
Exhausted kids by bedtime. :) Such a great experience for our first tournament away from home. I'm so grateful for these homes we have in Hurricane. We have created so many memories there!
