Cabin Trip

For Father's Day Ross rented a limo and all of the couples went to dinner in it.

Then went around and gave all the kids a ride.

I took all five kids to the cabin alone for FOUR nights. The longest I've ever stayed there. It's really hard for Brandon to make it to the cabin with no service because he likes to check in on work, so I just went alone. It was a long trip, but lots of fun filled with so many adventures!

I love going in the early summer where the lake is full and we can get in lots of water time. We actually had a rainy day or two on this trip so I was really grateful I spent the first two days out on the lake with the kids.

Trailer ride out to see deer. We were so crammed in this thing! And we got blasted with dust since they had just graded the road.

The kids tried sleeping out on the deck for the first time. Kallie was the only one who made it all the way through the night out there.

We spent one rainy morning going down to the museum in Fairview which was really fun. And we got to Facetime with Brandon while we were there!

We had a hummingbird get stuck inside the cabin and this was our brilliant idea that got it out. Worked like a charm.

The kids reenacted some scriptures stories, this is Ava with a beard. Lol. It was so funny watching the kids. Jonah getting swallowed by the whale was the best.

Girl's Camp

So after Phoenix we had a week at home which was honestly pretty rough. Kids were bored, we had no structure. We even did quite a few fun things but the boring times seem to outweigh the fun times.

I was loving Jackson snuggling with me on the swing.

Tyler and Kallie and Sophie are the heart attack experts. They are always heart attacking our grandparent neighbors.

Splash pad.

Our 15 year anniversary was on June 9th. We ate out for lunch and then at dinner time we went with Brandon's parents to a car show that was part of Orem Fest. Not exactly our most exciting anniversary, but oh well, such is life.

Met up with Anna at a splash pad. So fun to see her kids.

We had a local girls camp with activities around town, and we just slept at home every night. It was so much fun!

For our service project we hosted a tea party for all of the empty nester ladies in our ward and they all loved it so much!

Camp fires and testimony meeting at Xanthe's house in our ward. She has such a great yard! It was suuuuuper hot the three days we had Girl's Camp. Like we were melting. But we survived and made some great memories.

I conquered my fear and went down the straight slide at Scera so this was my camp award.

Phoenix Salmon Family Reunion

The day school got out we hopped in the car and started the drive to Phoenix for a trip with all of Brandon's family.

We stayed in Paige and went and saw the dam and hiked into Horseshoe Bend the next day.

And then we spent like 8 days in a row just swimming, swimming, swimming. It was a really fun trip!

Jordan and Annie came all the way from England and it was so good to see them again after not seeing them for almost 2 years.

We went to a Diamondbacks game one night with all the cousins.

The kids made it to the jumbo tron a bunch of times and Tyler danced his heart out. It was so awesome to watch!

Jackson fell asleep poolside a bunch of times which was sooo fun for me!

Beautiful views on the way home. This trip was a great start to our summer!
