Tyler and Kallie turn 10!

Okay I am in real time in January updating this blog from September which is really hard to do. I had no idea I had neglected it for so long.

Loving teaching joy school to these cute boys with Ava occassionally joining in.

September was a magical Fall month. The weather was so nice and I could not get enough time down by Utah Lake. All I ever wanted to do was go scooter by the lake.

Jackson and I had a really fun morning one day while Ava was at school and we found this big fuzzy caterpillar, on the very day we had talked about caterpillars for letter C in joy school. We had so much fun playing with it.

Then while Jackson was at joy school I asked Ava to go back down to the lake with me and we discovered a playground at an apartment complex that has a beautiful view of the lake.

Ava has made lots of new friends in her Kindergarten class. This is Everly, whose older brother Maximus has already been Tyler's friend for a year or so.

Ava dressed up like a pirate for pirate day at school, thanks to Harper's mom for letting me borrow the shirt and bandana!

Ava and Jackson love to go out with John when he's working in his garden and chat with him. Since this picture, he had a stroke and is not doing very well so he can't make it out there anymore.

We paid for school pictures for the first time ever!

Tyler - 4th

Kallie - 4th

Ava - Kindergarten

More joy school fun with Luke and Caleb.

The sand park was a frequent stop for us this summer. The kids all love it!

Random pic of me and Mckinley at Costco. Oh, this was the day I dropped my drink and spilled it everywhere.

Ava with Harper and Claire.

Ava and Harper. They are the cutest little friends! Harper's big brother Hudson has been one of Tyler's best friends the past couple of years.

Jackson crashes all the time. Ava decided to put a doll in his arms and surround him with squishmallows.

Mckinley was able to go do baptisms for the dead 4 or 5 times this year. She loves it!

Crazy hair day! I love the hairstyles that are crazy, but still cute.

Tara's family came into town for a visit and we had so much fun hanging out with them!

Of course I had to take them to the sand park and down by the lake.

Tyler and Kallie got to celebrate their birthday the night before it happened with all their cousins.

They still got breakfast in bed, even on an early school morning. The kids are done requesting Mickey Mouse pancakes now and usually want either their first name initial or the number they are turning.

Opened presents before school.

Tyler and Kallie were miserable the afternoon of their birthday. Just so bored and thinking it wasn't a fun birthday. But we did go out to Pizza Factory that night and I swear we did Nickel City or something else too but I can't even remember now because it was so long ago now and I never wrote it down! But, they are 10 and they are wonderful. They are great little friends and love to each have a friend over and then all play together. They still want to sleep together every night!

Tyler was sooooo much fun to watch play soccer this Fall. He is amazing!

Came home after his game and mowed the lawn. What a stud! He is the best little kid anyone could ever ask for. So kind and respectful and handsome!

Leaving the sand park one day, these two were adorable holding hands.

St. George Labor Day Trip

Love seeing all the cute all about me posters at school! Ava is loving Kindergarten.

Been enjoying some days at the sand park while the other kids are at school.

For Labor Day weekend we headed down to Hurricane with all the owners of our units, minus Karen who was in Arizona with Jordan and Annie and their new baby.

It was nice going on a trip down there where we didn't have to miss any school.

It was a super chill trip (too chill for my liking) where we just swam and hung around.

I was so worried because the forecast showed 107 degree weather, but it really didn't feel that bad. We really enjoyed the pool time!

Love when he falls asleep at the pool. I know this isn't going to last long so I am soaking it up!

Drove by the temple and went to the park that's right by it for the first time.

Back home and I begged to teach joy school on Wednesday since I missed my turn from Labor Day.

Tyler has had two soccer games so far. They won the first one and then got killed in this one. He is a great little defender and is so freaking fast I love watching him run down the field.
