Bean Museum

Another Sunday morning outing to Bridal Veil Falls

One Monday night at like 7:00 Brandon randomly said hey, do you want to go to the Bean Museum? Brandon never wants to go anywhere so of course I jumped on it even though I didn't think the kids would do very well.

So we jumped in the car and went. And holy cow, these guys were more excited to be there than they were to be at Disneyland. Like seriously, they thought it was the coolest place they had ever been.

They were running around from one thing to the next making all sorts of animal noises and just being excited in general. It was super cute.

We will definitely be going back!

Bear Lake

This picture has nothing to do with Bear Lake but it was too cute not to post.

So my Mom's side of the family goes to Bear Lake every two years for a big family reunion. We didn't go two years ago since I was big pregnant with the twins. So the last time we went Mckinley was just a baby. Bear Lake isn't really our thing, but we went anyway.

I love that Mckinley fell asleep opposite of where I set up her pillow for her.

The kids had a blast throwing rocks in the little stream out front of the house we stayed in.

Our kids had a blast at the lake. I love that it's shallow for so far out so you don't need to worry about life jackets or anyone drowning. They did so much better than I thought and just played and played and played on their own.

Mckinley told me she was tired after a while so I had her lay in the back of the van and she fell right to sleep and stayed there for hours. Made it nice to have one less kid to keep an eye on.

We didn't go to the lake till the twins had already had a nap and they were just as happy as can be playing in the water and dirt.

Brandon out on the paddle board.

The second day at the beach was hotter and we didn't stay super long, but still had a good time.

Summer Stuff

This picture is blurry but so are most of the pictures we take of these guys. It's the age. Man, they can be cute though.

We have 1:30 church on Sundays which totally sucks so the last couple of weeks we have gone on some outings on Sunday morning. We went to the Provo River near where we used to live to throw rocks in the water.

A little splash pad fun with some cousins.

These Three

Man, we just love these three kids of ours. It has been a really fun summer. Tyler and Kallie are at a good age and we are actually able to go places! I thought for sure we would be stuck inside because they would run in the road or run away from me but they actually stay close to me when we go places which makes it possible to go places.

Mckinley practicing writing in Church.

This cute kid looks so grown up in a booster seat!

Kallie loves the swing more than anyone I know.

Fun at Grandpa and Marmee's in the castle.

His new golf clubs are his baby.

We have gone to Manila Pond twice now and just love it.

Kallie helping Dad in the kitchen.

Mckinley and Sam watching a movie on the recliner.

Kallie and Tyler enjoying their suckers at our ward party.

They did this all on their own on our back stairs. Cute kids!

Bedtime!

4th of July

Even though it makes for a super early morning, there is nothing we love more than going to see the hot air balloons. This year we went on the 4th since we weren't going to the parade. I'm pretty sure the 4th is the busiest day. Still tons of fun.

After the balloons we sat around and did nothing and our kids were so cranky from waking up so early. We went to a neighborhood BBQ for dinner but it was a pretty low key day for the most part.

Saturday we sat around and did nothing again all day, and still had cranky kids. Then we had a BBQ and did some fun fireworks with Brandon's brothers.

Kind of a different 4th of July this year. Just really low key. Brandon's parents were out of town and my parents left to the cabin as well and we are pretty boring on our own!

I put Mckinley's glasses on Kallie the other day and Brandon and I both died from the cuteness. Here's to hoping she needs to wear glasses one day!
