Tyler and Kallie turn 11!

These two cute kids have such a great friendship with each other. They hardly ever fight and I'm so glad they have always had each other in their class at school.

It's always a little rough celebrating a birthday on an early school day, so we didn't do breakfast in bed for them. But we did make pancakes and open presents before school!

After school I took the kids to Airborne.

Then they wanted to go to Pizza Factory for dinner. It was so yummy!

We ran into Hudson and Harper there with their grandparents so Harper took a picture for us.

We were going to meet up with Tara's family (who had just gotten into town that day) and go to the bounce houses at Classic but it didn't happen so instead we went to DQ for blizzards.

Went to Grandpa and Marmee's the next day to get their birthday presents. Ross just had knee surgery so he was home bound.

Two days after their birthday we had a big friend party at the church. It was so fun! We bought these huge beach balls off of Amazon and they played volleyball with them and then ran all around the church playing hide and seek and other stuff.

Kallie wanted brownies instead of a cake and Tyler was cool with it so that's what we did. So easy!

They opened presents in separate rooms and did a few activities separately, and then some together. I think everyone had a good time!!

Mckinley tried out volleyball at Club V. She was frustrated that she never really got her overhand serve down but I was so proud of her for trying something new and her volleyball skills definitely improved!

Mckinley has been doing a little cross stitching lately.

Tyler and Alex playing the game Alex got him for his birthday. So glad these two have remained friends even though Alex moved to Lindon.

Labor Day in Hurricane, goodbye braces, and more

We decided to go down to Hurricane for Labor Day since no one was using our house down there. We tried so hard to convince the kids to miss school on Friday or Tuesday so we could extend our trip and they seriously hate missing school so bad, they begged us not to. So we just went down for the long weekend.

It's tradition to stop in Fillmore at BK on our way down.

Had a good time at Dixie Rock. They had some big rain storms so some of it was a little flooded.

Brandon brought his drone and it was so fun to get a picture of us with the Dixie words that you can't even see when you're up there!

The kids don't care to do anything else but swim.

We pretty much always hit up Costa Vida while we're there. Love having places where all of our kids like the food!

The kids wanted to buy these so bad! Ha ha.

Ava lucked out and ran into a girl from her class at the pool and got to swim with her all weekend.

It had been awhile since we had gone to Grandpa's Pond so we hit it up this time. I love seeing the turtles in the pond!

We also saw a ton of little lizards this time.

Jackson is such a good little swimmer now. We are all done with floaties!

Ava fell asleep on Brandon's lap. So cute!

So fun having the drone there! The kids all think the pool looks like an elephant's head.

Jackson's swimming skills grew in leaps and bounds this trip! Everyone had so much fun helping him get better at swimming. He was getting diving rings in the 6ft deep part!

We discovered Wetzel's Pretzels thanks to our starving student cards and every single one of us fell in love. Best soft pretzels I've ever had!

Ate some really good food at Super Chix.

This trip was super fun and the weather was phenomenal! I can't remember if this was the right trip, but we had one overcast day where we swam for like 5 hours with no sunscreen. It was heavenly!

The day after we got back from St. George Mckinley got her braces off!!

Jackson was lucky enough to get to swim with Luke and Gracie while all the big kids were at school.

Love love love watching Tyler play soccer.

My good friend Krista Gray had baby twin boys and we got to go hold them!

At first Jackson didn't want to but he came around and then couldn't get enough!

Mckinley played volleyball for the first time ever. It was a 6 week fall league with Club V. I'm so proud of her for trying something new! She was frustrated that she really never got her overhand serve down but her skills totally improved!

Krista brought her twins to our house and I had to get a picture of my twins holding her twins.

More swimming at Gracie's for Jackson!

Then Hazel invited all her friends over to swim.

And later that night we went swimming with my mom at her neighbor's pool.

Followed by an amazing fireworks show! Such a fun day.

Tyler had a soccer game out in Eagle Mountain and then we rushed to his football game right after.

Headed to McDonald's for lunch after that.  Phew! Fall sports was a little crazy this year. I'm glad I accidentally didn't sign Ava up in time for soccer. It would have been too much.

We decided to organize all of Tyler's Legos and build out all his sets. It took forever but it was so worth it having Tyler and his friends play with Legos again since they were all out ha ha.

Jackson started a play group with five other boys who will all be in Kindergarten with him next year! They all live back in the loop. We have a play group once a week and rotate houses. Its been so good for him even though he has a hard time when it's at someone else's house.

Swimming activity at Becca's parents house for young womens.

Mckinley got to go serve food to the missionaries at the MTC with the youth and ran into Haley there! She got to see Jens as well, they just didn't get a picture together.

Luke and Jackson at primary program practice.

This little kid is just so cute! And growing up so much!

Face painting is always something the kids love doing.
