Summer Days

It's funny looking back on all these pictures from June because it seems like we did so much fun stuff, but I remember June being a horrible month for me. I was super anxious and depressed and cried pretty much the entire month. Guess it was probably a good idea to wait a while before posting about all of it, ha ha.

Brandon got breakfast in bed for Father's Day.

We had this one amazing perfect summer night outside with a bunch of neighbors and ended with such a beautiful sunset.

Fun day at Airborne!

It's been so long I don't even remember what movie we went to go see. Oh wait, I got it. It was Lightyear. We wouldn't have gone and paid for this movie but our neighbor had tickets from someone who had rented out the theater so we got free treats and stuff. It was fun. The kids liked the movie okay, it has a lesbian couple in it which was totally unnecessary, but whatever. It's the world we live in.

Another fun pond day with cousins.

We've got kids big enough to mow the lawn now! I still usually do it though, I've been trying to do it on Fridays to free up more time for us on Saturdays. But Mckinley really does enjoy doing it. Tyler has done it as well.

Fun day at the Orem rec center. Ava is so brave and was going down the water slide by herself and jumping off the diving board by herself!

Park days.

Fun at Nickel City.

Living their best life eating popsicles out on the deck.

Jackson still crashing everywhere, never taking normal naps.

Fun with cousins.

We got to bring Harper and Hudson to Heritage park with us one day and the kids had so much fun building a dam in the stream and then playing at Grandma and Grandpa Bishop's house after.

I took the kids to the Orem rec another time and the lifeguards wouldn't let Ava go down the slide by herself and the diving board was closed off. Kind of a bummer, but this adventure was epic because I decided not to swim and the kids are big enough that they just swam on their own! Tyler and Mckinley were amazing at taking care of Jackson. It was so cool! And turns out while we were in there, the craziest summer storm was happening outside ha ha.

Kids loved the hammock swings at Jordynn Green's house when we were there for a visit with her.

Swimming day at Provo Rec.

Ava, Chloe, and Wesley were all so brave to jump off the cliff. I couldn't see who was in the pictures when I was adding them so I have this one of Chloe and one of Wesley and not one of Ava. Oh well. We had the best day there with cousins in town and stayed there for 4 and a half hours!

16 Years and Girl's Camp

Brandon and I celebrated our 16th anniversary. I honestly don't know what we did, it's months later that I'm updating this. But I do have pictures of the cute celebration the kids did for us. Mckinley made us breakfast in bed. Oh wait, I do remember, I think I was at the cabin for our anniversary, so we celebrated a few days later and we went to Ruby River for dinner.

The kids rode their bikes to the church and picked a bunch of the rose petals to decorate the floor with. It was so cute. It led out of our bedroom all the way to this table that they had set up.

Ava hated Upstart, just like the twins, but I made her do it anyway, just like I made them do it. I signed her up for a graduation but had to move it because of the cabin trip, and ended up at a Spanish graduation, ha ha.

In June we had Girl's Camp! This was Mckinley's first time and I'm a leader with the oldest girls so I got to go with her! It was wonderful! The first day we stayed at home and hiked to Stewart Falls, and then did some activities at the Church.

The next day we drove up to Reid Ranch, up past Strawberry. We had some girls back out last minute so I ended up with just these three in my car. We had a great drive up! It's so nice going on road trips with no littles in tow.

Reid Ranch had so many activities for us. Archery, horse back riding, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming, all the food was provided. It was so fun!

These girls were pretty squishy in their tent but they survived!

While I was gone at camp, the couches we ordered like 8 months previously arrived, ha ha.

Me with Rylee and Savannah, two of my favorites!

Mckinley got the Splash Queen award because she was in a canoe with Maggie Hulse and they kept splashing everyone!

I got the lake dweller. I was assigned a devotional that went along with boating so every time a group of girls went boating, I got to go! Not a bad gig. I LOVE the lake! Our ward is so ginormous (about 50 girls) that we had to split into groups for each of the activities. We had a blast though! So glad I could go!
