Halloween 2022

Pumpkin carving at Marmee and Grandpa's. I'm so grateful for all the fun traditions they have created. We are so blessed to be part of such a great family!

We made spider cookies this year. Always so fun.

This year our ward did a chili dinner and a trunk or treat. It was freezing cold the night of the trunk or treat but we all survived! It was super fun. Loved it.

Grandma Bishop had a fun Halloween party for the grandkids.

We had so much fun painting pumpkins this year! The kids did a lot of it but I helped quite a bit too.

Ava dressed up a few different times, first she was a nurse, then a mad scientist, then Jasmine on Halloween night. Mckinley was an inmate which was awesome because she got to put one of her expensive dance costumes to good use. Kallie was a lifeguard with Maddie, Tyler wanted to be a gangster. Jackson didn't want to dress up but I was able to convince him to put on the moster costume to get some candy. Sure love these kids so much!

Love love love the Halloween parade at school. It has always been one of my favorite events at school.

Everyone was split up for trick or treating. I didn't even get a picture of all my kids together.

Mckinley went with these girls. I'm happy they all still wanted to trick or treat! I'll support it as long as they want to!

Miley Call had the most amazing Astrid costume ever. They made it from scratch! It was incredible.

October Happenings

Fun family bonfire outside the day after Ava's birthday.

I love this phase of life. I love making all these memories with our kids. There are lots of monotonous boring days in between, but I feel like we are pretty dang good at doing fun stuff with the kids. We love spending time together as a family.

Cutest sidewalk chalk emojis the kids drew. I was seriously impressed with their skills! I think this was Tyler and Kallie.

The kids are so funny and still get excited about silly things at the library like the statue in the entrance and the staircase outside.

We had the most magical picnic dinner at Nielsen's Grove park one day. The leaves were absolutely insane this year and while we never made it up the canyon to see them at their peak, we got some good looks at them on days like this.

Tyler and Brandon tossing a football to each other. I can't even describe how great the weather was and how glad I was that I suggested this picnic. I think it was a Sunday. It was just glorious.

We went on another picnic right around then to Canyon Glen Park up Provo Canyon. We had cereal for dinner up the canyon and brought fruit and stuff and it was so fun!

We kind of lived at the sand park and lake this Fall. No joke. The Sevilla's are building a house in Lindon and Tyler is going to miss Alex so much! They are the best of friends.

We tried to take each of the kids on one on one dates. Tyler chose Denny's for dinner and bowling. So fun!

Then with Kallie we did Chick Fil A and then bowling. Felt a little repetative for us, ha ha, but still fun!

Kallie got to go with Maddie Telford to a BYU baseball game. Sure love all the great kids my kids are friends with.

I got to go to Thriller with some neighborhood friends and had a great time. I went walking with Kirsty and Shannon Cluff every week in the summer. Kirsty planned this. We ate at a yummy Italian restaurant first and it was such a great night out! It was raining like crazy though!

Cute sisters who fight more often than not, but occassionally grace us with moments of being friends.

Ava at the dentist. She had a loose tooth and the dentist popped it right out of her mouth and it landed on her lap. She hardly even noticed. Absolutely loved Dr. Anderson and I'm so sad to find out that he is switching offices so we won't get to see him anymore.
