Steph turns 42

Gosh it's so hard going back months to play catch up.

Lots of pics of Mckinley's track meets. She did track this spring and we are so proud of her! She improved so much and stuck with it and now as I write this in June, she has made a goal of running 50 miles this summer and is crushing it! She is so awesome. She is not a natural runner so this was not easy for her but I'm just so proud of all she's done.

Mckinley and her cute new friend Pearl, who happens to be the daughter of a new friend I made when I went to Time Out for Women in St. George, Maleen Cazier.

Still taking pics of Jackson falling asleep, but they are definitely becoming more infrequent.

The whole family headed to Lakeridge on a Saturday once to run on the track. It was so fun!

Mckinley and her amazing art skills still going strong. She amazes me!

Rachael and Mckinley at track, with a girl in the middle who I don't know.

Tyler makes himself scrambled eggs now before he plays soccer, and it is the best thing ever!

Love having a child sleeping on me! It's very apparent this is not going to last much longer. These kids are growing up!

Tyler had a soccer game in Salt Lake one Saturday and after his game we went to the Post Malone Raising Canes and it seriously was so cool!

Then hit up Scheels on the way home too. I'm always trying to squeeze in as many adventures as I can.

On the way home we dropped Brandon off at Murdock Hyundai just to look at cars. He had been thinking about buying a new car for himself for a couple years now but he really didn't know what he wanted. He completely surprised me by buying a new car and driving himself home from the dealership. He got a Hyundai Tucson and loves it!

Took a family walk down by the Provo River.

On my birthday Jackson went to playgroup at Lori Hack's. When I picked him up they were all shirtless ha ha.

Brandon and I went to lunch, sort of, for my birthday while Jackson was at playgroup. It ended up being a big bust, but whatever,

Dinner was great! We got Costa Vida and took it to the park by Brandon's work and had a great evening!

I thought Brandon should just maybe hang on to his car and save it for Mckinley to drive. We bought it when she was born and it was such a great car with crazy low miles. Under 60,000 I think. It was a 2012. But Brandon wanted to just sell it and so it's gone. Goodbye dear Sonata. You were so good to us.

More track meets. Mckinley's favorite race was the 400 and she beat her time every week in a row for like 4 weeks. She did great!

Ava played spring soccer and really loved it. Her favorite was being "goalie helper" (defense). She and Emily were doing cartwheels on defense one day, ha ha.

Ava's right leg has been hurting her for months so we went to see Dr. Bailey and he told us he was suspicious she might have something called Perthes. Of course we knew what that was from Ryan. She started out with a hip x-ray that showed negative. We ended up seeing a specialist and getting an MRI but she doesn't have perthes! Still has leg pain that we don't have answers for but we're glad it's not perthes. We got some blood work done too to rule out bone cancer and that was negative too.

Ava played against Emery one day.

Poor girl icing her leg. Nothing much really helps it.

Family walks around the neighborhood are the best!

Family time at Grove Park. Spring is such an amazing season.

Spring Break 2024

We talked about going to Albuquerque for spring break but when we realized it started with Easter and ended with General Conference, we just decided to stay home. We had a great week at home though and did tons of fun stuff and got time to relax too!

We had lots of fun game nights.

Monday the girls went to the mall while Tyler played with Nixon, and Jackson came with me to work at Salmon Insurance. Then in the afternoon we went to Nickel City.

Tuesday we did baptisms for the dead as walk ins and had no wait at all, better than any of our appointments so far.

Then went swimming at the Provo Rec late in the afternoon so Brandon could join us.

Wednesday we stayed home for tumbling, a birthday party, and soccer practice.

Thursday we went to Lowe's in the morning and Brandon came with us!

Then swimming at the Pratt's in the afternoon.

Friday was chill until Brandon and I took Tyler to his freezing cold soccer game in Heber. He officially switched from Patrick's to Steve's team (yay!!!!).

Saturday and Sunday were spent doing puzzles while listening to conference. It was such a great week!

Jackson and I caught a peek of the very end of the eclipse. I finally got my hands on a pair of eclipse glasses that I will save till next time. If there ever is a next time ha ha.
