Mckinley went on another run.
We had a chill afternoon, took a nap in the house, I think we swam in the pool that day and hung out at our lagoon, we went to Costco and had some sushi, it was yummy!
We walked over by the Marriott because we knew their luau was out on the grass on Tuesday nights. Had a great time playing in the sand, and watched the luau for a couple minutes but the kids weren't too interested in it.
Wednesday, Day 4, we started our day by feeding the fish, and then decided we wanted to try to go to Shark's Cove again because we loved it so much.
We met a guy when we were barbecuing some meat by the pool whole told us about a place nearby he had been to called Mermaid Cave. So we checked that out on our way up to Shark's Cove and it was pretty cool! We climbed down in and it was so pretty and loud as the waves came splashing up.
Went in search of some malasadas. Zippy's didn't have any so we went to another bakery down the street, and they were yummy!
Also decided to go get shave ice at Matsumoto's. It was great! So fun!!
Finally made it to Shark's Cove and had another great day of snorkeling there. The kids even saw a turtle in there! Brandon and I never saw the turtle, but saw tons of fish and crabs and had a great time!
Cute chicken with baby chicks on the way back to the car.
The ocean is so beautiful!
A screenshot from my snorkeling video with a huge school of fish. I could snorkel all day every day, it's my favorite!
Brandon was obsessed with this beach that had a river running into it so he wanted to stop by there on the way back. Turns out it was Waimea Bay Beach Park, the place with the famous cliff jumping rock.
We ended up playing at this beach for like an hour and had the absolute best time. The little lifeguard hut was completely dreamy. So picturesque.
The view as I looked back from the beach. I was in heaven!
We grabbed an abandoned boogie board and the kids had a great time playing with it, even though it was broken. So much fun in these waves. I swam out with a snorkel and saw some fish! Win win for everyone.
We had stopped on our way out to Shark's Cove by Laniakea beach (turtle beach) but didn't see any turtles. Well, on the way home we saw a bunch of people standing taking pictures so we pulled over, Brandon found a parking spot, and we got to go see this guy up on the beach! They have these animals roped off and don't want anyone going to close.
Back home for another evening at our lagoon watching the sunset, combined with a rainbow this time.
Back out for a dip in the hot tub at night and got this beautiful pic.
