Ava is THREE!

I was looking back on Ava's 2nd birthday and saw that we went to Jaker's on her birthday. I guess when you have a birthday in October, pumpkin patches are a good place to go. We didn't go on her actual birthday this year, but a few days before. My cousin was in town for her dad (my uncle)'s funeral so we met up at the pumpkin patch. It was freezing and so windy, which gave us the place to ourselves. We had a great time. Jackson was there too, but hiding in his car seat. He slept almost the whole time. It was awesome.

Jackson is getting close to sitting up! Such a cute bald little thing.

Ava rides her scooter in all weather. :)

Saturday was Ava's birthday. She was so excited to turn three and now she says she's almost 10.

Part of her birthday was spent at my uncle's funeral so my mom brought her a birthday present that she opened up in the church parking lot.

It was a pretty low key birthday but I think she felt special and she sure loved all of her gifts. She got a new baby doll, a stuffed unicorn, play dishes, a tea set, and new clothes. She is such a fun child. Everyone who meets her loves her!!!

Ava is Potty trained!

I have tried casually a few times to potty train this girl and she didn't seem ready. Well last Thursday we tried again and already by today (Tuesday) she is mostly accident free and even sleeping in underwear! She is doing amazing.

She filled up her whole chart with 25 stickers.

Her aunt Shannon took her to the dollar store to get her a treat, which she has been looking forward to for months! Way to go Ava girl!

Tyler and Kallie are 7!

The twins turned 7! They were soooo excited for their birthday. I can't get the breakfast in bed picture to load, but we did that of course, then opened presents. They wanted candy bar charts this year and we finally delivered. We were supposed to do it last year and forgot. :)

Then they had school. Their teacher doesn't have parents come in for birthdays but they had a Johnny Appleseed party at school that day and I asked if I could come help with that. I'm glad I could go in on their birthday!

After school we went to dinner at Burger King and then came home for ice cream cake. Mckinley had a late night with her friends so she missed the cake. Weird that I have kids old enough to be doing stuff like that and missing out on birthday celebrations!

We made it to Pizza Factory the next day for their 7 pizzas. So fun to celebrate these two!

Classic Skating

Kallie was struggling adjusting to 1st grade and crying at school. Brandon promised her if she didn't cry for two days, he would take her to Classic Skating. She never cried again! Yay! It took us a couple weeks to follow through on the promise, but we finally did. The kids had a blast.

We went on a Monday night and did their family night deal. We were worried it would be crowded but it was a complete ghost town. It was so awesome!

More park days.

The kids decorated for Halloween for me. I love that I don't have to decorate for holidays anymore!!!

The two littles and me

I have really loved being home with Ava and Jackson while the big kids are in school every day. We have so much freedom! It's so easy to go and do things, or just stay home if that's what we feel like.

We have gone on walks around the park. One time Ava even rode her scooter around the whole park while I pushed Jackson in the stroller.

This picture doesn't really fit in this post, but I love Tyler's creativity when building with legos!

Cute smiley bald boy.

Yogurtland trip.

Ava stopped taking naps. This is by far the youngest any of my kids have stopped napping. Occasionally she crashes in the car or on the couch.

Every time we pull into the driveway Ava wants to either ride her scooter, pull the wagon, or push a stroller on the sidewalk outside. We are enjoying this amazing fall weather while we can.

Jackson is pretty much big enough for the double stroller!

Ava is so good on a scooter and always puts her left leg up while she glides. It's so adorable.

Cute church outfits!
