Las Vegas - Part 2

Tyler could have played in Colby's driving car all day. They loved this thing! And so awesome to live in a cul-de-sac. The weather was seriously so dang nice.

The next morning we went to the Children's Museum which was seriously so huge and amazing. We had a blast!

Home for naps and a relaxing afternoon, and then that evening Jordan took us to the most amazing park ever. It was seriously so huge and so fun and the weather couldn't have been better.

We got to feed turtles and ducks and fish.

Play on these fun huge slides.

And enjoy the many different play grounds.

Finished it off with a beautiful sunset.

Then baths with cousins because everyone was so dirty!

We had such a great time staying with Jordan and Annie.

Burger King on the way home.

Kids were perfect again on the ride home. Ava didn't sleep very much but was so happy awake just chilling in her seat. It was the best!

Big kids were tired from all their playing and napped on the way home! This is the first trip that gave me any hope for happy travelling in the future. So glad we went!!!

Las Vegas

We almost didn't get to go to Las Vegas because Ava and Mckinley spent Tuesday night/Wednesday throwing up. But we delayed our trip one day, said a prayer, and decided to chance it. Everyone was healthy the entire trip and it was a true miracle because Kallie spent Sunday night throwing up after we got back.

Anyway, we decided we wanted to get away for Spring Break so we went and stayed with Jordan and Annie in Las Vegas. The kids were amazing on the drive to and from! Such a pleasant surprise!

Jordan is a doctor in the Air Force. We had to go get a pass to get us on the base.

Straight away we went to this museum on the base where they have old retired aircraft, army tanks, helicopters, missiles, etc. that you can explore. It was so cool!!

It was actually pretty hot! Mckinley started getting a little cranky towards the end, ha ha, like mother like daughter. I don't do well in the heat!

After that we went and got dinner at Memphis BBQ. It was sooo good. Best brisket and turkey ever. We made quesadillas for the kids, and then enjoyed perfect weather playing out on the park.

Ava does not like the baby swing! She also wouldn't let me help her going down this huge slide and ended up totally face planting it in the wood chips at the bottom. Poor baby.

Swimming is seriously our kids' favorite thing to do so we had to make sure to make it a part of our spring break. We took the kids Tuesday night to the Orem Rec and they had a blast.

Cute matching swimsuits!

Ava is kind of a maniac and is our first kid who won't sit happily in the yellow tube so it makes swimming a little bit trickier. But luckily the older three are pretty much fine on their own. Tyler and Kallie need a lot more swimming practice but I love not worrying about floaties for them anymore!
