Christmas Day was completely wonderful. We had a big family sleepover downstairs on Christmas Eve. Kallie woke up bright and early, at like 5 something. She eventually got back to sleep I think. Kallie was the most excited for Christmas this year. We ended up waiting for Ava who was the last one to wake up and finally got to opening presents around 8 I think. Maybe 7:30.
The kids love getting lots of good treats in their stockings.
Jackson found his big car from Santa and started pushing it around right away.
Kallie's face kills me. She was beyond thrilled with her presents.
Breakfast was amazing.
My parents came over and gave the kids some small gifts (their big gift to everyone this year was taking us to see the lights at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. Then after a while we headed over to Ross and Karen's. They sent the kids on a big treasure hunt where they ended up with money. Each of them got $20.20 because it's the year 2020. They acted out the Nativity too which was really cute and fun.
Jackson was worn out by the time we came home and fell asleep in the car.
We had all of Brandon's family over to our house for dinner since Ross and Karen's kitchen is being remodeled right now. It was so much fun and just a really great Christmas Day.
