The kids did get to go and light the fire on one of the balloons which was cool.
This is when the balloon had fallen on to the crowd.
Ross bought a boat, that we all chipped in towards. It's small and old, but the kids of course still love it. Tyler got to go out on it with his boy cousins (Tara's and Chandra's kids) before the rest of us.
Absolutely love summer nights where we get to go out and put around on the golf course.
The kids were so excited to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks from Grandpa Salmon's roof again. Jackson came up there with us too and we had a great time.
I started casually potty training Jackson at the beginning of July.
How cute is his skinny little body in his undies?
We woke up early to see the hot air balloons but by the time we got there only a few were still blown up, none went into the air. I think between the three days, they never did go up this year. This tradition is dying off for us because it's getting way too popular and crowded.
After that we headed to the parade. A lot of the cousins are boycotting the parade now so it's not as fun, but we still had a good time.
Except for this poor girl. Kallie started feeling sick at the parade and spent the entire parade laying down on a blanket feeling like absolute garbage. She spent the whole 4th of July sick and missed out on the BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa Salmon's and was super bummed about it.
I think Mckinley is turning this into a tradition. Love that she can do this all on her own!
Jackson crashed right on the kitchen rug over at Ross and Karen's.
Leslie did dirt and worms but instead it was sea foam and sand and sea creatures. Holy cow it was so delicious!
Here's that picture of Ava jumping off the cliff at the Provo rec.
