Boxing Day, Luminaria, Airborne

Boxing Day was so much fun, as always. Brandon and I didn't eat the breakfast because we were fasting for our neighbor who was in the hospital with COVID. But we had a great time hanging out.

Dallin's family got a hamster for Christmas and the kids had so much fun watching it run around.

That night we went to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point. I was dreading the cold but we bundled up and were warm and the lights were beautiful! It was crowded and Brandon was wanting to rush through, but we had a good time.

We have been wanting to take Kennedy to Airborne and found the perfect opportunity the day before her birthday. The kids had a great time, as always!

Of course we had to go pick up Mav and bring him since he lives so close and Tyler loves playing with him there.

This girl and her attitude. She's really killing me these days!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was completely wonderful. We had a big family sleepover downstairs on Christmas Eve. Kallie woke up bright and early, at like 5 something. She eventually got back to sleep I think. Kallie was the most excited for Christmas this year. We ended up waiting for Ava who was the last one to wake up and finally got to opening presents around 8 I think. Maybe 7:30.

The kids love getting lots of good treats in their stockings.

Jackson found his big car from Santa and started pushing it around right away.

Kallie's face kills me. She was beyond thrilled with her presents.

Breakfast was amazing.

My parents came over and gave the kids some small gifts (their big gift to everyone this year was taking us to see the lights at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens. Then after a while we headed over to Ross and Karen's. They sent the kids on a big treasure hunt where they ended up with money. Each of them got $20.20 because it's the year 2020. They acted out the Nativity too which was really cute and fun.

Jackson was worn out by the time we came home and fell asleep in the car.

We had all of Brandon's family over to our house for dinner since Ross and Karen's kitchen is being remodeled right now. It was so much fun and just a really great Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was so amazing this year. My mom and sisters came over in the morning to hang out and then the rest of the day we just stayed home. I absolutely loved it. I loved not leaving the house at all.

We made cookies for Santa.

The kids did a gift exchange with each other and also opened new pajamas.

Tyler got Jackson these cute remote control cars that were such a big hit. It was so cute to watch the boys playing together. Jackson is old enough now that he and Tyler can really play together sometimes.

Well this is sad looking at these pictures because we ended up taking back this car Tyler got. He wasn't very excited about it which was weird because he wanted one of these types of toys. He ended up getting a fun science magic set instead though that he loves.

Same with Kallie. The hair chalk that she got was a total bust so we had to take it back to the store and she picked out some stuff at the dollar store instead.

Christmas morning. So magical and so fun!
