I have wanted to go down to Utah Lake in the winter for a few years now and we finally made it. So much fun and just a few minutes from our house!
I had taken the kids to the lake over Christmas break and there weren't any cool chunks at all but by February it was awesome!
I'm normally so scared to walk out on a frozen lake and we strictly forbid the kids to go walk out on the frozen pond on the golf course, but this felt safe and was so much fun!
I planned a trip to the BYU dinosaur museum and the bean museum for joy school and we had a great time together!
Tyler got to go to a UVU basketball game with his team again this year. So thankful for his coach who makes extra effort for these boys to have fun!

Kallie wasn't with us the first time we went out to the lake so we went again to show it to her and had a ton of fun. There was a part that was melted so we had fun throwing big chunks of ice into the water.
Chinese New Year dinner at my parents house is always so much fun! This year my mom shared a cool story about how the Hong Kong Temple came to be where it is, which was where the mission home used to be and my mom lived in the mission home for a big portion of her mission. She also had a guy there who she found when he was a young boy.
