I got to help out in both parties this year. Cammie Pratt is the room mom for all of her kids classes every year and she goes all out for parties.
We took the kids to Golden Corral for dinner on Valentine's Day and had so much fun!
Tyler dipping his cotton candy in his orange fanta. Lol. Talk about sweet.
It's no small thing to take our big family out to eat, but it's so much fun now that the kids are getting older and more independent.
Seems like no blog post is complete without a picture of Jackson sleeping.
Mckinley decided to try out for student council for next year. She made the cutest poster! We found the idea online but she did it completely alone!
I'm so glad my boys each have a brother!!
More sleeping pictures.
These guys got really into snake.io for a while, ha ha.
On President's Day when there was no work or school we tried going to Ross and Karen's, only to find an empty house. Happens way too often, ha ha.
Tyler painted this picture of a venus flytrap. He has been obsessed with these for quite a while!
Tyler and I often see deer on the way home from Maximus's house.
Kallie comes home from school with Addie and Scarlette most days. And she and Scarlette have like 3 matching shirts from Shein.
We got to celebrate Leslie's 60th birthday with her.
I took Ava and Jackson outside to play in the snow one day while the big kids were at school. I have enjoyed the snow more this year than any other. Life is just getting better and better with no more babies to take care of!
Ava and I made a heart in John and Sally's yard to show them we love them. I've been helping Sally with her mail and garbage can now that John can't do much. He had a stroke back in October and hasn't been the same since. They are both turning 91 this year.
Tyler's last couple of basketball games were incredible. He worked so hard and did amazing! His coach made the whole team these jersey's with their last name on the back. So nice of him!
Ross and Karen came to every basketball game except one that they were out of town for. They are so incredibly supportive!
Our neighbors gave us their fish that wasn't doing too well. It is breaking my heart watching this fish because it won't eat any food and seems like it is just dying. Hopefully we can get another one after it dies and get better equipment for it to keep it alive. :)
Mckinley has been absolutely thriving in 7th grade. She loves it so much and loves all her fun classes! She made this adorable bedroom out of a shoe box in her home ec class (they call that class CTE). It is beyond cute and reminds me so much of our Look Alike books that the kids love.
