4th of July and Bear Lake

Brandon took the kids out on his dad's boat and I stayed behind. It was the day after Girl's Camp and I was tired, ha ha!

Mmmm, we love love love Jurassic Tacos.

Kids got really into the .5 photos, lol.

Love making concert in the park memories.

Randomly went to Macey's with Ross and Dallin's kids.

I ran into my childhood neighbor, Jamie Bocanegra. It was so fun to see her after so many years!!!

And then at Scera pool with Christi Nielson and her kids.

Love taking the kids to different parks in the summer. Kallie is a teenager already and won't come with us sometimes.

Checking out the Pratt's pool finally being filled up. It was a long time coming!

Brandon and I took the kids to Lowe's Extreme Sports one day and had an absolute blast!!

Ava planted a seed in a pot in Kindergarten with Mrs. Brown and it started to grow a little so we transplanted it into our flower beds. She was so excited to see it bloom a little flower! (More on the progress of her to come!)

These cute tins have such a special friendship. I just love them so much!

We tried to hit up the Hot Air Balloons at night and it was a bust for the second year in a row. Such a bummer. Maybe one year we will get to see them blown up.

We decided to skip the balloons in the morning and just went straight to the parade. Brandon doesn't love the parade and honestly, I don't really love anything specific about the parade, it just feels so festive going. So I love it.

The actors from the Chosen came through the parade. It was so fun to see them.

Back to Grandpa and Marmee's to see Tara who stayed home from the parade with her puppies. Ava is always in heaven with puppies.

We stayed there pretty much the whole rest of the day besides going home for a little break. Had a fun day with cousins!

Two days later, on July 6th we headed out to Bear Lake for an extended Salmon family reunion. 

Had a potluck dinner with all of Brandon's cousins at a park. It was great!

Ross rented a big fun house for us all to stay in. The kids had so much fun being with their cousins.

We hit up the beach on Friday but it was such a terrible spot with hardly any beach. Brandon got stuck driving the boat and we never even got to see him because a storm came up and we all left. Bummer day.

We got together with all the cousins at another park for a talent show and group pic.

Then hit up Rendevouz Beach with all the Salmon's. It was a good day.

Lots of yummy expensive food at LaBeau's. :)

The house had the most beautiful view of the lake. It was so wonderful.

We brought Brandon to Pleasant Grove to see the big flag for his first time the day we got back from Bear Lake. So fun!
