Mission Reunion

I went to my mission reunion on Friday night and had such a good time there! It was amazing to see President and Sister Biddulph and a ton of other people I knew (including Jocelyn, my old college roommate whose husband happened to have served in my mission...I had no clue). We had a great program, I was called on by surprise to say the closing prayer...and then asked to do it in Ilonggo, yeah, that was a bit scary. I don't feel like my Ilonggo is that great after being home for three years! We had some amazing banana splits and watched a video that Elder Hopkins put together of everyone's pictures. It was so cool! Here are some pictures of me and some of my very favorite people!!! I know Brandon (and probably a lot of you) is going to think this is way too many pictures but I just can't leave anyone out. These people mean a lot to me!

Elder and Sister Hopkins. I love love love these guys! They saved my life my first 6 months in the mission, helping me get our toilet to flush and a million other things.

Well sorry to anyone who thought this was a boring post but going to my mission reunion was honestly one of the most exciting things I've been able to do in a long time...besides Florida. ;)

Trip of a Lifetime - Marco Island, Florida

Well, Shannon beat me to the post but what can you expect when I work and she gets to stay at home? :) So anyway, we just got back from the best trip ever! Brandon and Jason's Insurance Agency qualified to go to MetLife's Annual Leadership Conference this year. We are so proud of them for working so hard. It was such a fun trip. MetLife took care of us SO well. They paid for us to go on fun excursions and to have AMAZING food for every meal.

We were sad that we had to miss out on the first night's dinner because of a delayed flight. Customer service is apparently no longer in existence with the airlines. If you can see on the clock in this picture, we barely got to check in at the hotel at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday instead of 6:00 p.m. Bummer. :(

We're all Settled

Sorry that our whole blog seems to be pictures of the house. But you gotta admit, it's a pretty be event buying your first home. So people have been asking me to take pictures of our place now that we're all moved in and settled. So here they are, as promised. I still haven't taken one of the outside...I'll get to it sometime.

Easter Fun

We had a GREAT Easter weekend! Friday night we went to the temple with Tara and Gary and then made dinner at our place and played games. Saturday morning we had a really fun ward activity with an easter egg hunt and breakfast. Then I went and helped my brother move, did a little shopping for our house, and me and Brandon went to see 27 Dresses Saturday night at the dollars. I really liked that movie. So then on Easter we went to our new ward for the first time and really liked it. Everyone was really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had an awesome dinner over at the Salmon's after Church and then had an easter egg hunt. Ross always does a great job on this. It was a lot of fun! Here are a few pictures from Sunday.

We Moved!

Well, last night we moved all our stuff in to our new house. Now we just need to unpack it. :) I think it's all so much fun. It was so exciting to sleep in our new house. It felt a little bit like camping because we had NO heat. Everything got disconnected or whatever and I called yesterday and thought I had it all set up again. We did have electricity which was nice but the gas never got turned back on so we didn't have heat or hot water. :) It made for a memorable first night in our new place.

The move went really well. Thanks to everyone who came and helped! I think we were all done loading AND unloading everything in an hour and a half! We borrowed two trailers and by the time we had brought all of our stuff out of our apartment, one of the trailers was still empty so Brandon and Bryant took it to RC Willey and picked up our new furniture. So we did it all in one shot. It was awesome! We meant to buy pizza for everyone but in all the excitement it totally slipped my mind so we might have to have a belated pizza party for everyone that came to help. :) We really do appreciate all of you.

Well, since I'm stuck at work and can't be at home unpacking boxes, I will just post a few pictures of the move. Thanks Kristi for reminding me to take pictures! I know I would have forgotten!

The Best Uncle EVER!

I think my neices and nephews are the luckiest kids in the world because they have the best uncle ever! Brandon! I'm pretty sure he is everybody's favorite uncle (no offense to any of my brothers). Every time we get together with my family Brandon is always playing with the little kids, chasing them around and building forts and just anything they want to do. I think it's adorably cute and I'll tell you something, this kid is going to be the best dad in the whole world! Hopefully SOON!! One of my favorite things to hear is Kai when he yells "Bwandon!!!" every time he sees us. Brandon is so great with kids and I just love watching him play with them. Our kids are going to have the best childhood ever. At least whenever he's around. I love you Bran!
