Cute Baby

Summer can be exhausting! We've had lots of naps from the twins this summer.

Everyone is still obsessed with Ava.

She pulled the blanket over her face while she was drinking her bottle.

Cousins at the bell concert.

Picnic at Springwater park. We've spent a lot of time there this summer. Best kept secret around! I love that park.

Ava is still our little thumb sucker. All the other kids loved their binkis but she doesn't want anything to do with one. The great part is she only sucks her thumb in bed. I'm sure it won't always stay that way, but for now we have the best of both worlds and are totally enjoying it.

Man, she is cute!

I love how she always puts her foot up on the cart.

The University Mall playground has become a favorite place to visit. Especially since it's so close to Brandon's work so we usually get to go see him after we play.

Brandon and I got to take Mckinley to the Freedom Festival Gala dinner again, after going 5 years ago with her. The food honestly wasn't that great but the experience was awesome.

Too cute!!!

Water!

I love how much my kids love the water! If I were a nicer mom, I would buy a pass to a pool and take them more often. But we have taken the opportunity to go to some splash pads and we had a few free swimming parties we were invited to so they have at least been able to play in the water a little this summer.

They still love this tiny pool I bought years and years ago.

The Provo splash pad is our favorite. We have gone three or four times this summer so far.

My friend invited us over to play on her water blob. The kids had a blast.

Met up with a friend from Australia at the Alpine splash pad.

This is Gabby's sister Courtney. I had so much fun meeting up with her and of course left with yummy Australian chocolates.

Tyler was so happy his cousin came. They had so much fun playing together.

Swimming at the Lindon pool. Ava loves swimming!! It's so fun taking her.

Mckinley really wanted to go "surfing" so we signed her up and let her go. She got a couple turns. The best part was when we were retrieving the boogy board for her, she decided to put her foot out in the water to feel it and it swept her away in a second. Ha ha ha. So funny.

My friend Elleny invited us to go swimming with her at the most perfect pool ever that is right by our house. We had a blast and are hoping to go back!!

Slip and slide with cousins.

Cabin Trip

The kids were so excited for this cabin trip. They all made paper chains and were counting down for a couple of weeks. We had a great trip for Ava's first time at the cabin.

Out on the paddle boat as a family. We're not all going to fit on that thing for much longer.

We drove over by my Grandpa's old cabin to go on a hike, and later regretted it. The hike was okay but we easily could have stayed put and walked by the lake where we were instead of driving so far. Lesson learned.

All of the artists at work.

Ava was pretty dang good while we were there. She woke up a lot the first night but Brandon really enjoyed snuggling with her in our bed. She napped pretty well and was mostly happy while we were there.

The kids had fun making their own pizzas for dinner. And then after they were cooked, Tyler had a 4 hour meltdown about having to eat one. Brandon was so patient with him and got him to eat a piece in the end, but my gosh, that kid has some ISSUES!!

My mom made this awesome hammock that we had a blast in. Until the last day when Kallie fell out of hit and bit threw her lip. Ouch!

S'mores!
