Saturday we woke up and left at like 10:00 to drive to Las Vegas. When we got there we drove down the strip so the kids could see all the hotels.
We parked at the New York New York and walked through the Hershey store (new since the last time we were there - over 5 years ago), got a couple pretzels (yummmmmm) and then went outside to walk the strip.
This statue of liberty is made out of like 800 pounds of chocolate.
Mckinley has been obsessed with Reeses forever.
Wall of different kinds of kisses.
They used to have a statue of liberty made out of jelly beans but it wasn't there anymore. Instead they had this one made out of twizzlers.
I really wanted to take a picture by the famous sign but I'm glad we got this one inside the New York New York because we never did make it to the other one.
We went to the M&M factory and kind of realized it's pointless to go inside these stores because we have no intentions of buying anything and there really isn't anything else to do in there. So we skipped the coke factory and didn't even go in.
We left our jackets in the car but it was a little windy and chilly.
Mckinley wants to make it to the real Eiffel tower one day, but for now, this will have to do.
We walked all the way to the Bellagio. The inside display was Chinese New Year themed. It was cool, but not as good as others we've seen in the past.
Pretty disappointing that the fountains didn't go off. But we got lots of walking in, over 2 miles!
Brooklyn Bridge replica.
Love this little "city" inside the New York New York.
We ate dinner at Taco Bell and got to Buffalo Bills where we were staying the night. The hotel was better than we expected and has a cool buffalo shaped pool (that was closed for the season). Would totally stay there again on the way to California.
